Invitation

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the 11^th International Conference on Solar Energy at High Latitudes "NorthSun 2007", to be held in Riga, Latvia, 30^th May - 1^st June 2007.

The Conference is being organized by Riga Technical University under the presidency of Professor Dr.Hab.Sc.Ing. Dagnija Blumberga.

The three days conference will address new scientific research results and the newest knowledge about solar energy applications in Northern latitudes. A lot of the solar research and development of new products is being produced in these Northern hemisphere countries.

It is therefore the hope to be able to share the newest experiences among NorthSun community in order to kick off a process for further development in this part of Europe.

The aim is also to increase awareness of different sectors about solar energy in order to further increase that share of the renewable energy source.

Participants will include architects, engineers, scientists, designers, manufactures, suppliers, developers, builders, investors and entrepreneurs dealing with the solar energy sectors.

Sharing experiences with colleagues from other countries will enable us to learn from each other, strengthen research cooperation, and protect the future of our energy supply.

We look forward to seeing you in Riga.
